Abstract
The study was designed to develop a Material Resource Planning System for Dimamay Bakeshop. It focused on the following objectives: a resource planning module that will schedule production to minimize spoilage of ingredients and products for delivery to consignors, a module that will generate accurate reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, a database that will store and retrieve income and sales records, a POS module that will capture products information as basis for production and an inventory management module that will provide accurate ordering of raw materials.

Basically, there are two types of users that have access to the system, the administrator account which has access to all system functions and staff accounts that are limited to a specific function depending on its job description.

The system’s front end was developed through Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, while its back end is Microsoft Office Access. Windows XP was used as the main operating system during the development until implementation.

It was concluded that the system was able to meet the objectives with the development of Material Resource Planning System for Dimamay Bakeshop. The system is deemed capable of fulfilling its intended functionalities.
