The study designed to develop a Forbes Fleet Management System. It focuses on the following objectives: (1) Develop a driver’s profiling module to create an organized record for drivers and a database to keep those records; (2) Develop a taxi profiling module that records taxi, fuel consumption and mileage; (3) Develop a maintenance module that records taxi maintenance details of the taxi unit; (4) Develop a lease module that can create and record lease, payments and driver’s violations. (5) Develop a fleet monitoring module containing a tracking and real time capabilities to locate a taxi unit. (7) Develop a report generating module that generates maintenance history, lease, payments, mileage, fuel and driver’s violations.

The methodology used for the development of the system was the Iterative Enhancement Life Cycle Model which has the following phases: planning, requirements, design, implementation and testing phase, review phase and deployment phase. The development of the proposed Forbes Fleet Management System would be greatly benefit drivers, passengers, operators and the owner. The records and information of taxis and drivers would be kept on the database so the loss and physical damage of the data be avoided.

The system is also capable on tracking the taxi unit and it can also generate reports like violations, mileage, fuel, rentals, lease, and maintenance.
