Résumé
The Philippine Medicinal Farm Tourism Information App is intended for the use of Remnant Institute Incorporated to provide a reliable source of information to the farmers and to give a convenient way for the users to access the application anytime, anywhere.
The main beneficiary of the application is the Remnant office which mainly includes the farmer’s they trained as well as their management.
The features are the following: the herbal plant profile module that allows users to view benefits, applications, and directions on how to use/apply the plant. The interactive forum module where the users can interact with each other just by creating a topic. The geo-tagging module that allows farmers to tag herbal plants within a specific a location. The rating module is used to allow users to rate herbal plants effectiveness. The security access level module that allows farmers to gain entry to different functionalities of the system and allows them to share/post newly discovered plants and their information.
The methodology used for the development of the application is the Extreme Programming that has the following stages: Planning, Designing, Coding, Testing and Releasing.
The Philippine Medicinal Farm Tourism Information App will innovate the herbal plant profile to help the farmers by providing information and will make the Remnant Institute Incorporated the main source of data. This application will help the Remnant to easily share information through this application by a centralized firebase stored in the cloud. Using this application, the users can discover different plants which can cure certain illness.
