dc.description.abstractThe basis for this study was 1,052 written administrative communications gathered from twenty-two academic offices of the university from July, 1970 to April, 1971. Specifically, this study sought answers to the following questions: (1) To what extent do administrative communication barriers exist in Central Philippine University? (2) What types of communication barriers are they? (3) In what parts of the communication process are these barriers likely to be found? (4) What specific types of barriers are the most common in the university? (5) In what period of the year do they mostly occur? (6) What office has the most barriers per unsuccessful communication? (7 ) How serious are these barriers?en_US
