Abstract
This study was designed to create a Dental Information System and Scheduling with SMS Technology for Sorongon Dental Clinic. The system sought to automate the day-to-day operations and transactions of the dental clinic to provide a more systematic process and reliable reports for the users. It focused on the following objectives: a scheduling module which would organize and automate the current scheduling system of the dental clinic, a patient profile database to store and retrieve patient records, and a payment module which stores all the transactions made daily and can present reports in a chosen date span.

The methodology used to develop the system is the Iterative System Development Life Cycle which has the following stages: planning, requirements, analysis and design, implementation, testing, evaluation and deployment.

Results showed that the proposed Dental Information System and Scheduling with SMS Technology would help all clinic personnel to ease their work in terms of scheduling patients, retrieving information, and producing reports. Also, the proposed system helped in providing the users with an accurate data that can easily be viewed in the system. Computation and data gathering was also easier with the use of a mobile device that is used to get the tooth information of each patient. Reminders about balance and schedule to all patients was also easier with just a click of a button.
