This study aims to determine the Management Retention Strategies of the Prominent Local Restaurants in Iloilo City amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. A total of 45 respondents participated in the study, including 6 managers and 39 employees of the selected local restaurant in Iloilo City using the explanatory mixed method of qualitative and quantitative research design. A researchers’ made questionnaire for structured interviews and a checklist were used to gather the data. The result revealed that among the management retention strategies used by the management of the Prominent Local Restaurants in Iloilo City amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic were to support the employees in terms of financial and needs, supervised a rotational schedule so everybody can be accommodated, change a physical setting into the online delivery platform, holding regular meetings, and encourage mentorship. Among the strategies the most used was to support the employees in terms of financial and needs while the least was the change of a physical setting into an online delivery platform. Furthermore, teamwork, good relationship, loyalty, dedication, and being religious were utilized as well by the management which help them be effective. The results revealed that there was no significant relationship between the employee retention strategies and when the respondents were grouped according to sex, civil status, place, residence, educational attainment, and length of employment thus, the null hypothesis was accepted. The five retention strategies, it concludes that were effective and can boost employee morale which can have a positive impact on them.

This study aimed to determine the Preferred attributes of millennials towards Kalan-an sa garden in Brgy. Tinorian, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo by assessing the garden’s location, attraction, activities and services. An overall rating was determined and also ratings were categorized according to respondents’ demographic profile in terms of sex, civil status and occupation. This type of study was quantitative research and used a descriptive research design. The sample size of this study was 50 tourists who visited the garden. A questionnaire was given to the respondents thru google form. The sample size was determined through non-probability sampling method. The result of the study found out that there is not such much difference in the preferred attributes of millennials towards Kalan-an sa Garden in Brgy. Tinorian, Barotac Nuevo when grouped according to sex, civil status, and occupation as the satisfaction level shows. Thus, The researchers recommended that in terms of location, to make it easier for visitors to find the Kalan-an sa Garden should advertise more on social media. In terms of activities, by providing a safe and educational vegetable and flower picking experience that is accessible to visitors with different needs, it can enhance the visitor experience on the garden and create a memorable and enjoyable activity that encourages visitors to return. In terms of attractions by offering unique, personalized, and educational products in a creative and convenient way. In terms of services, by providing visitors with information about the ingredients used and the importance of sustainable and locally sourced food. By implementing this recommendations, the garden can put out enhancement, immerse tourist or customers and develop their place.

This study aimed to determine the perceptions of commuters on routes, Ungka, CPU, Iloilo City, and vice-versa. There are 375 total of respondents using the Sloven’s formula. The price rates, convenience, and accessibility were used to determine the result of the perceptions of respondents. The result aimed to contribute to an improvised the new mobility of implementation of modernized jeepneys to provide accessible transportation to commuters. The respondents, drivers, and the public interest will benefit from this called modernization in Iloilo City by replacing traditional jeepneys with safer and more efficient modernized jeepneys. The U-test method was used to analyze the data and revealed the result of the perceptions of commuters according to price rates, accessibility, and convenience. The perception of the commuters in this study is acceptable for the reason that the young adults dominate the respondents with 94.7% and most of them were unemployed and indeed the modernized jeepneys are very convenient to the commuter based on the result it has (9.266) overall assessment level. This research study will benefit the academics, industry, LTFRB, drivers, and future researchers through the program of Iloilo City about how convenient modernized transportation is when group to age, sex, and employment status. This will serve as a guide to future reference on the implementation of modernized jeepneys.

This is a study on the knowledge and practices about sepal weaving in San Lorenzo, Guimaras. Sapal Weaving is associated with Community-Based Rural Tourism. This form of tourism is difficult to find due to the term "rural." In studying one of the cultural and livelihood traditions of the people of Guimaras, the researchers had hoped to promote and explore sapal weaving industry. Through their involvement and commitment, all people of the community are encouraged to enrich their livelihoods and goods in order to assist their economic sustainability. The Sapal Weavers Association (SWA) in Guimaras strives to put their products in the spotlight so that they are known not just in Guimaras, but across the Philippines. The goal is to assist Sapals Weavers of Brgy. Sapal San Lorenzo Guimaras through promotions conducted by the researchers in order to spread information about their practices, as well as for the researchers to know and understand further the life of the weavers and what the weavers are doing to boost their products and economy in order to sustain their daily needs and necessities in their community. Weaving is more than just a form of art for indigenous Filipinos; it is also a way of life that stretches back to Spanish colonialism.
